1. Register on Win Tablet

1.1. Initialization of Receipt and Kitchen Printer

  1. Connect your printer to same network as tablet
  2. Install Device Center on tablet (follow the instructions in the Device Center User Guide)
  3. Set up printer on Device Center (follow the instructions of Device Center User Guide)
  4. Start eHopper POS on your Win Tablet and go to Settings--->Printer Setup
  5. Input URL of Device Center
  6. Tap Search for printer on top right of screen
  7. Select receipt and/or kitchen printer that using
  8. Choose either 80mm or 58mm as the paper width for both printer types.
  9. Print a test page by clicking Print test page.
  10. Tap DONE

1.2 Initialization of Bar Code Scanner

1.3 Initialization of Audio Jack Card Reader

  1. Connect Audio Jack Card Reader to tablet
  2. In Back Office, go to Settings--->Register Settings.
  3. Select register that want card reader for--->click Payment Gateway tab--->select USA ePay in Payment Gateway drop-down menu.

1.4 Initialization of USB Card Reader

  1. Connect USB Card Reader to tablet via USB interface
  2. In Back Office, go to Settings--->Register Settings.
  3. Select register that want card reader for--->click Payment Gateway tab--->select USA ePay in Payment Gateway drop-down menu.

1.5 Initialization of PAX Terminal

  1. Set up your PAX terminal by following the PAX User Guide here
  2. In Back Office, go to Settings--->Register Settings.
  3. Select register that want card reader for--->click Payment Gateway tab--->select PAX in Payment Gateway drop-down menu.
  4. Login to POS and go to Settings--->Terminal Setup
  5. Input Serial Number of PAX Terminal and then tap + sign
  6. Click Done button.

1.6 Initialization of Cash Drawer

  1. Connect cash drawer to printer
  2. Install Device Center on tablet (follow the instructions of Device Center User Guide)
  3. Set up your cash drawer on device center (follow the instructions of Device Center User Guide)
  4. Start eHopper POS on your Win Tablet and go to Settings--->Cash Drawer in left navigation menu. 
  5. Input URL of Device Center
  6. Tap Search for cash drawer on top right of screen
  7. In list of printers that appear, select printer that cash drawer is connected to.
  8. Tap Test link to the right of the selected printer. If drawer opens, it is properly set up. 
  9. Tap DONE to confirm settings.

 

2. Setup on Laptop/PC

2.1 Initialization of Receipt and Kitchen Receipt Printer

  1. Connect printer to network or to device
  2. Install Device Center on your device (follow the instructions of Device Center User Guide)
  3. Set up your printer on Device Center (follow the instructions of Device Center User Guide)
  4. Log in to POS and go to Settings--->Printer Setup
  5. Input URL of Device Center
  6. Tap Search for printer on top right of screen--->select receipt printer that using
  7. Define paper width
  8. Print a test page by clicking Print test page.
  9. Tap DONE

2.2 Initialization of Bar Code Scanner

2.3 Initialization of USB Card Reader

  1. Connect USB Card Reader via USB interface
  2. In Back Office, go to Settings--->Register Settings--->select register that using
  3. Click Payment Gateway tab and select USA ePay as Payment Gateway in drop-down menu.

2.4 Initialization of PAX Terminal

Requirement: Must have Freedom package to use PAX Terminal or any other card reader as a payment processor.

1) Setup your PAX terminal by following the PAX User Guide.

2) In Back Office, go to Settings--->Apps--->App Directory--->install Credit/Debit POS integration App

3) Go to Settings--->Register Settings--->select register that using

4) Click Payment Gateway tab--->select PAX as Payment Gateway in drop-down menu--->click Done

5) Login to POS and go to Settings--->Terminal Setup--->click Add Terminal button

6) Input Serial Number of PAX Terminal and click Submit

7) Click Accept Certificate

8) On the new tab that pops up in your browser, click Advanced.

9) Click Proceed to (unsafe)

10) Click Done on the Terminal Setup screen

2.5 Initialization of Cash Drawer

  1. Connect cash drawer to printer
  2. Install Device Center on device (follow the instructions of Device Center User Guide)
  3. Setup your cash drawer on device center (follow the instructions of Device Center User Guide)
  4. Log in to POS and go to Settings--->Cash Drawer in left navigation menu
  5. Input URL of Device Center
  6. Tap Search for cash drawer on top right of screen
  7. In list of printers that appear, select printer that cash drawer is connected to.
  8. Tap Test link to the right of the selected printer. If drawer opens, it is properly set up. 
  9. Tap DONE to confirm settings
