1. Register on Win Tablet

1.1. Initialization Receipt Printer

  • Connect your Printer to network or to your tablet
  • Install Device Center on Tablet (follow the instructions of Device Center User Guide)
  • Setup your printer on device center (follow the instructions of Device Center User Guide)
  • Start eHopper POS on your Win Tablet
  • Open Printer setup page
  • Input URL of Device Center
  • Initiate search for printer
  • Select your printer in the list of available receipt printers
  • Define paper width
  • Make test printing
  • Tap DONE

1.2  Initialization Kitchen Receipt Printer

  • Connect your Printer to network or to your tablet
  • Install Device Center on Tablet (follow the instructions of Device Center User Guide)
  • Setup your printer on device center (follow the instructions of Device Center User Guide)
  • Start eHopper POS on your Win Tablet
  • Open Printer setup page
  • Input URL of Device Center
  • Initiate search for printer
  • Select your printer in the list of available kitchen receipt printers
  • Define paper width
  • Make test printing
  • Tap DONE

1.4 Initialization Audio Jack Card Reader

Note: You can use Audio Jack Card Reader only when you use USA ePay as Payment Processor.

  • Connect Audio Jack Card Reader to your tablet
  • Select USA ePay as Payment Processor for your Register in settings on Back Office

1.6 Initialization USB Card Reader

Note: You can use USB Card Reader only when you use USA ePAy as Payment Processor.

  • Connect USB Card Reader via USB interface
  • Select USA ePay as Payment Processor for your Register in settings on Back Office

1.7 Initialization PAX Terminal

Note: You can use PAX Terminal as Card Reader only when you use PAX as Payment Processor.

  • Setup your PAX terminal following the PAX User Guide.
  • Select PAX as Payment Processor for your Register in settings on Back Office
  • Start eHopper POS
  • Open Terminal setup page
  • Add your PAX Terminal to the list of Terminals (to do it input serial number of your PAX Terminal and tap ‘+’)
  • Tap DONE

1.8 Initialization Cash Drawer

  • Connect your Cash drawer as peripheral device to your Printer
  • Install Device Center on Tablet (follow the instructions of Device Center User Guide)
  • Setup your cash drawer on device center (follow the instructions of Device Center User Guide)
  • Start eHopper POS on your Win Tablet
  • Open Cash Drawer setup page
  • Input URL of Device Center
  • Initiate search for cash drawer
  • Select your cash drawer in the list of available cash drawers
  • Make test open of cash drawer
  • Tap DONE

 

2. Register on Laptop/PC

2.1 Initialization Receipt Printer

  • Connect your Printer to network or to your Device
  • Install Device Center on your Device (follow the instructions of Device Center User Guide)
  • Setup your printer on device center (follow the instructions of Device Center User Guide)
  • Start eHopper POS on your Win Laptop/PC
  • Open Printer setup page
  • Input URL of Device Center
  • Initiate search for printer
  • Select your printer in the list of available receipt printers
  • Define paper width
  • Make test printing
  • Tap DONE

  • Connect your Printer to network or to your Device

2.5 Initialization PAX Terminal

Note: You can use PAX Terminal as Card Reader only when you use PAX as Payment Processor.

  • Setup your PAX terminal following the PAX User Guide.
  • Select PAX as Payment Processor for your Register in settings on Back Office
  • Start eHopper POS
  • Open Terminal setup page
  • Add your PAX Terminal to the list of Terminals (to do it input serial number of your PAX Terminal and tap ‘+’)
  • Tap DONE

2.6 Initialization Cash Drawer

  • Connect your Cash drawer as peripheral device to your Printer
  • Install Device Center on Tablet (follow the instructions of Device Center User Guide)
  • Setup your cash drawer on device center (follow the instructions of Device Center User Guide)
  • Start eHopper POS on your Win Laptop/PC
  • Open Cash Drawer setup page
  • Input URL of Device Center
  • Initiate search for cash drawer
  • Select your cash drawer in the list of available cash drawers
  • Make test open of cash drawer
  • Tap DONE

To use eHopper POS on Windows, it is necessary to install Device Center. Device Center is a Windows application, which allows Merchant to utilize any Windows compatible Receipt Printer and Cash Drawer in eHopper WEB POS.


Device Center is installed on Windows Device(s) in the local network of the Store and ‘shares’ the equipment connected to these Devices for eHopper POS.


When eHopper WEB POS needs to print receipt or open cash drawer it sends request to Device Center and Device Center redirects the correspondent command to target equipment.
