In Reporting, users can access the following reports:

Tips Report

Z Report

Product Mix Report

Tax Report

 

Tips Report

This report shows the tips paid by customers via credit/debit card on orders for the selected period.

Each record in this report represents a transaction in which the customer left a tip, either on the screen or on the receipt.

When an order has been paid via Split method and there were several Card Payments in Split with Tips – this Report will contain several lines related to Order O. Each line will relate to individual payment from Order O.

On the Tips Report Screen, you can:

  • View List of Tips
  • Sort Tips list by any column
  • Apply Filters to Tips list (Employee, Period)
  • View Total Amount of Tips obtained by Merchant for selected period

Tips Report is available for all Roles who can operate in Back Office: Administrator, Manager, Back Office Operator.

Tips are assigned to the Employee who created Order. (If the Order was created by one Employee and then updated by a second Employee, then paid by a third Employee - the Tips for Order are assigned to the first Employee as they created the Order.)

The date of Tips payment is:

  • for payment where Tips were on screen - date when payment was processed
  • for payment where Tips were on receipt - the date when payment was captured (closed)

This date is used in the Period filter.

Auth-Only payment is not shown in Tips Report. This type of payment will appear in this Report after it has been closed.

Payments from voided Orders are not shown in the Tips Report.

Payments from Refunded/Partially Refunded Orders participate in Tips Report.

Z Report

This Report contains list of Z Reports for the shifts done in the Account.

Z Report is available for all Roles who can operate in Back Office: Administrator, Manager, Back Office Operator.

On the Z Reports screen user can:

  • View list of Z Reports for the selected period
  • Sort Z Reports by any column of the list
  • Apply filters to Z reports list
  • Initiate review of the details of the particular Z Report

Filtering Z Reports by Period

When a particular period is selected, the list should contain all shifts which were Opened and Closed within this period (Ex. when Period is set to Today, all shifts which were opened today and closed today should be shown in the result list after applying filter).

View Z Report Details

On Z Report Details page, user can view the details of the shift.

Product Mix Report

Product Mix Report allows User to view Quantity Sold, Gross Sales, Net Sales and Tax Amount for products for the selected period.

All User Roles who can access back office can work with Product Mix Report: Administrator, Sales Manager, Back Office Operator.

Gross Sales in this Report is calculated as Qty Sold * Price of Product.

If the price was changed after the sale of a product, the actual price at the time of the sale is used for Gross Sales calculation.

An item is considered to be sold after it is fully paid (Auth-Only Orders are considered paid).

Products from Voided Sales Orders are not counted in 'Qty Sold' and 'Gross Sales'.

Example: When 100 pieces of Product P were sold and the order was later voided, then Qty Sold would be 0 and Gross Sales would be 0.

Products from Refunds do not affect the 'Qty Sold' and 'Gross Sales' values. Example: When 100 items of Product P were sold, then 50 items from the purchase were returned, then Qty Sold would be 100 and Gross Sales would be 100.

Net Sales is calculated as the sum of the Extended Prices of Transactions lines where product was sold/refunded.

Line Extended Price from sale transaction is taken with ‘+’ to this sum. Line Extended Price from refund transaction is taken with ’-‘ to this sum. Extended price for transaction line is calculated as Qty Sold*Unit Price – Discount. Line Extended Price from voided/failed transactions are not calculated in the Net Sales value.

Tax Amount is calculated as sum of transactions lines taxes where product was sold/refunded. Line Taxes from Sale transaction is taken with ‘+’ to this sum and Line Taxes from Refund transaction is taken with ‘-‘ to this sum, taxes from voided/failed transactions are not calculated in the Tax Amount.

The Totals section of Report is calculated for the whole report (for all pages of the report).

Tax Report

Tax Report is available in Reporting section. To Open Tax Report click on ‘Tax Report’ item in Reporting section.

On the Tax Report you can view:

  • Total Sales for the selected period

This amount is calculated as the Totals of all transactions for the selected period.

Sales Transactions Totals are calculated with '+' in this sum

Refund Transactions Totals are calculated with '-' in this sum

Voided and failed transactions  are not included in calculation of Total Sales amount.

  • For the selected period

This amount is calculated as the sum of the non-taxable amounts in all transactions.

The Non-Taxable amount of transaction is calculated as the sum of the extended prices on all non-taxable transaction lines.

Transaction line is non-taxable when it contains not taxable product.

Non-Taxable Amount of Sale Transaction is calculated with '+' sign in this sum.

Non-Taxable Amount of Refund Transaction is calculated with '-' sign in this sum.

Voided and failed transactions are not calculated in the Non-Taxable Amount.

  • Taxes with Taxable Amounts and Taxes Collected for all Tax Rates applied for the selected period.

This table contains list of Tax Rates applied for the selected period.

For each Tax Rate, Taxable Amount and Tax Collected is calculated.

Taxable Amount is calculated as the sum of the taxable amounts of all transactions where the given Tax rate was applied.

Taxable Amount of transaction is calculated as the sum of the extended prices of all taxable transaction lines where the given Tax rate was applied.

Transaction line is taxable when it contains taxable product.

Taxable Amount of Sale Transaction is calculated with '+' sign in the sum.

Taxable Amount of Refund Transaction is calculated with '-' sign in the sum.

Voided and failed transactions are not calculated in the Taxable Amount.

Tax Collected is calculated as the sum of all taxes of using the given tax rate of all transactions.

Tax of given tax rate for the transaction is calculated as sum of tax of the given tax rate collected for the transaction lines.

Tax of Sale Transaction is calculated with '+' sign in the sum.

Tax of Refund Transaction is calculated with '-' sign in the sum.

Taxes of Voided and failed transactions are not calculated in the Tax Collected Amount.

 

Transactions Report

You can extract transactions from your Account to csv file.

This Report contains successful and failed payments and refunds from Sale and Refund transactions.

To generate Report, you need to define filters and click/tap ‘Export’ button.
